They are resistant to oxidation and high strength in high temperature environments.

In addition to some oxidized products, the surface of the molybdenum bar is bright and shiny with a silver color.
Black - Retains a processing lubricant and oxide coating with a black finish.
Bright - chemically cleans the surface to remove all lubricants and oxides.
Polished - The surface removes all coatings by centerless grinding for precise diameter control.
